dc.description.abstractDeterminar el nivel de influencia de la prevención primaria en la disminución de casos de influenza AH1N1 en el Hospital Regional de Ica, en el periodo junio – octubre de 2019. En relación a la naturaleza, la investigación fue de tipo básica, en cuanto al análisis del conocimiento y por el tratamiento de los datos fue cuantitativa; por su parte en función al rigor científico y metodológico la investigación fue de nivel descriptiva – explicativa, siendo el diseño de carácter no experimental. Las técnicas utilizadas para obtener los datos de campo fueron el análisis documental y la ficha de observación; para procesar los datos se utilizó la clasificación, organización, tabulación de datos, cuadros y representaciones estadísticas y para comprobar los resultados se utilizó el Chi – cuadrado en relación a los grados de libertad y el valor crítico. La muestra fue de 217 pacientes y se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: el 51.61% de pacientes que recibieron la vacuna fueron hombres, el 72.81% de los pacientes no presentó ninguna reacción adversa, los meses de junio y julio fueron los predominantes respecto a pacientes vacunados con un 43.78%. Realizada la comprobación de la hipótesis, se llegó a la siguiente conclusión general: La prevención primaria mediante la promoción de la salud y protección específica tiene una relación favorable en cuanto a la disminución de casos de influenza AH1N1 en el Hospital Regional de la provincia de Ica, junio – octubre de 2019. Se deben de efectivizar de forma permanente la estrategia de educación sanitaria y protección específica (administración de vacunas) para prevenir las enfermedades como la influenza. ----- determine the level of influence of primary prevention in the reduction of cases of AH1N1 influenza in the Regional Hospital of Ica, in the period June - October 2019. I relation to nature, the research was of a basic type, in terms of the analysis of knowledge and the treatment of data it was quantitative; On the other hand, in terms of scientific and methodological rigor, the research was descriptive-explanatory, the design being non-experimental. The techniques used to obtain the field data were the documentary analysis and the observation file; To process the data, the classification, organization, tabulation of data, tables and statistical representations were used, and to verify the results, the Chi-square was used in relation to the degrees of freedom and the critical value. The sample consisted of 217 patients and the following results were obtained: 51.61% of patients who received the vaccine were men, 72.81% of the patients did not present any adverse reaction, June and July were the predominant months with respect to vaccinated patients with 43.78%. After testing the hypothesis, the following general conclusion was reached: Primary prevention through health promotion and specific protection has a favorable relationship in terms of the decrease in influenza AH1N1 cases in the Regional Hospital of the province of Ica, June - October 2019. The strategy of Health Education and specific protection (administration of vaccines) to prevent diseases such as influenza should be permanently implemented.
