The objective was to determine the relationship between internal communication and the level of organizational climate of the workers of the district municipality of Ocaña, in the city of Ayacucho. The research was of a basic type with a quantitative approach, correlational level and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 24 workers of the municipality. The survey was used as the study technique, which consisted of two questionnaires of 23 questions each, following the structure of the Likert scale. Both questionnaires were subjected to a reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha, obtaining 0.844 and 0.917, indicating good and excellent reliability of the instruments. The Shapiro-Wilk Normality test was used to determine the type of distribution of the data and, based on this, Spearman's correlation coefficient was used to evaluate the relationship between the variables and their dimensions. Likewise, Kendall's Tau-b correlation coefficient was applied for hypothesis testing. As a result, it was obtained that the level of perception of the workers on the study variables varies between medium and high. For the relationship of the variables in the Spearman's test a value of 0.788 was obtained and in the hypothesis test a significance level of < 0.001. Therefore, it is concluded that internal communication has a strong significant relationship with the organizational climate, positively influencing it.
