Uso didáctico de las TIC para desarrollar capacidades comunicativas en estudiantes del Instituto Superior Pedagógico “Juan XXIII” de Ica

Abstract

La informática viene provocando transformaciones en todos los aspectos de la vida humana y, consecuentemente, en todas las áreas del conocimiento. En tal sentido, la humanidad enfrenta a un nuevo mundo que exige nuevas formas de vivir que exige, entonces, nuevos propósitos educativos. El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre el uso didáctico de las TIC con el desarrollo de capacidades comunicativas en estudiantes del Instituto Superior mencionado. Fue de tipo básica, con enfoque cuantitativo, retrospectivo y transversal, con diseño descriptivo correlacional. La muestra la integraron 31 estudiantes seleccionados por medio del muestro intencional y por conveniencia. Se empleó como instrumento el cuestionario de encuesta que se aplicó a los estudiantes de la muestra para recoger información de ambas variables y estuvieron constituidos por 15 ítems distribuidos en tres dimensiones cada una. Los resultados muestran que, en la variable “Uso didáctico de las TIC”, 30 estudiantes (96,77%) se ubican entre las categorías Regular y Alto y en la variable “Desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas” 28 estudiantes (90,32%) se han ubicado en esas categorías. Para la prueba de hipótesis se recurrió al coeficiente de correlación que fue 0.7490374 y el p-valor estuvo muy por debajo del margen de error de la investigación. La conclusión refiere que existe entre las Variables “Uso didáctico de las TIC” y “desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas” una relación positiva alta, lo que indica que a un adecuado uso didáctico de las TIC, le corresponde un adecuado desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas, en estudiantes que integraron la muestra.

Information technology has been causing transformations in all aspects of human life and, consequently, in all areas of knowledge. In this sense, humanity is facing a new world that demands new ways of living and new educational purposes. The objective was to determine the relationship between the didactic use of ICT and the development of communicative skills in students of the aforementioned High School. The study was basic, quantitative, retrospective and cross-sectional, with a descriptive correlational design. The sample consisted of 31 students selected by means of intentional and convenience sampling. A survey questionnaire was used as an instrument, which was applied to the students in the sample to collect information on both variables and consisted of 15 items distributed in three dimensions each. The results show that, in the variable "Didactic use of ICT", 30 students (96.77%) are located between the categories Regular and High and in the variable "Development of communicative skills" 28 students (90.32%) have been located in those categories. For the hypothesis test, the correlation coefficient was 0.7490374 and the p-value was well below the margin of error of the research. The conclusion refers that there is a high positive relationship between the variables "Didactic use of ICT" and "development of communicative skills", which indicates that an adequate didactic use of ICT corresponds to an adequate development of communicative skills in the students in the sample.
