Resumen
La comunicación terapéutica es un componente vital en la atención del paciente,
en el cual el profesional de enfermería transmite empatía, respeto, confianza y
autenticidad, vital para que el paciente se sienta satisfecho con la atención.
Objetivo: Determinar la relaciónentre la comunicación terapéutica deenfermería y
la satisfacción percibida por los pacientes hospitalizados en el Servicio de Medicina
del Hospital Santa María del Socorro, Ica 2024. Material y métodos: Estudio
cuantitativo, transversal, aplicado, correlacional y no experimental, con muestra
probabilística y aleatoria de 120 pacientes, aplicándose la técnica de encuesta,
como instrumentos dos cuestionarios validados de comunicación terapéutica (α =
0.954), y de satisfacción del paciente (α = 0.814). Resultados: Se confirmó que
existe relación positiva y moderada entre las variables (rs = 0.540; p=0.000),
confirmándoseque, a mayor comunicación terapéutica de enfermería, mayor era la
satisfacción del paciente. De igual forma se confirmó la relación significativa entre
la satisfacción del paciente y las dimensiones de la comunicación terapéutica
según empatía (rs = 0.441, p = 0.000), respeto (rs = 0.667, p = 0.000) y autenticidad
(rs = 0.437, p = 0.000). Conclusiones: Existe relación significativa entre la
comunicación terapéutica de enfermería y la satisfacción percibida por los
pacientes hospitalizados en el Servicio de Medicina del Hospital Santa María del
Socorro, Ica 2024
Therapeutic communication is a vital component in patient care, in which the nursing professional transmits empathy, respect, trust and authenticity, vital for the patient to feel satisfied with the care. Objective: To determine the relationship between therapeutic nursing communication and the satisfaction perceived by hospitalized patients in the Medicine Service of the Santa María del Socorro Hospital, Ica 2024. Material and methods: Quantitative, cross-sectional, applied, correlational and non-experimental study, with a probabilistic and random sample of 120 patients, applying the survey technique, as instruments two validated questionnaires of therapeutic communication (α = 0.954), and patient satisfaction (α = 0.814). Results: A positive and moderate relationship was confirmed between the variables (rs = 0.540; p = 0.000), confirming that the greater the therapeutic nursing communication, the greater the patient satisfaction. Likewise, a significant relationship was confirmed between patient satisfaction and the dimensions of therapeutic communication such as empathy (rs = 0.441, p = 0.000), respect (rs = 0.667, p = 0.000), and authenticity (rs = 0.437, p = 0.000).
