Educación financiera y capacidad de ahorro en los colaboradores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Manitea, Cusco 2024

Abstract

La educación financiera, elemento crucial para comprender aspectos financieros, para dotar a los agentes deficitarios de capacidades, conocimientos, y conciencia financiera, necesarios hoy en actividades financieras. Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar cómo es la incidencia de la educación financiera en la capacidad de ahorro en los colaboradores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Manitea, Cusco 2024. Empleó la siguiente estrategia metodológica, donde la investigación fue básica, de alcance descriptiva correlacional, donde el diseño fue sin manipulación de variables de corte transversal; se trabajó con 127 colaboradores, quienes constituyeron la unidad muestral de análisis; así mismo se diseñó el cuestionario y las fichas bibliográficas como instrumentos de acopio de información. La cuantificación inferencial se desarrolló con el método del Chi cuadrado y el coeficiente de relación Rho de Sperman, del cual se demostró para la hipótesis general al 95% de nivel de confianza y con 56 grados de libertad con, un p valué de ,041 < .05 y verificando el nivel de correlación para las variables ordinales, el valor Rho del coeficiente de Spearman es de .319 que indica una correlación baja entre las variables con un p valué de .000<.05, se tomó la decisión estadística de rechazar la hipótesis nula y aceptar la Hipótesis: Hay incidencia directa y significativa entre la educación financiera y la capacidad de ahorro en los colaboradores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Manitea, Cusco 2024.

Financial education is a crucial element for understanding financial aspects, providing deficient agents with the skills, knowledge, and financial awareness necessary in financial activities today. This research aimed to determine the impact of financial education on the savings capacity of employees of the District Municipality of Manitea, Cusco. The following methodological strategy was used: basic research, descriptive and correlational in scope, and the design did not manipulate cross-sectional variables. The sample unit for analysis was used with 127 employees; the questionnaire and bibliographical cards were also designed as data collection instruments. The inferential quantification was developed with the Chi square method and the Sperman Rho relationship coefficient, which was demonstrated for the general hypothesis at 95% confidence level and with 56 degrees of freedom with a p value of ,041 <.05 and verifying the level of correlation for the ordinal variables, the r value of the Spearman coefficient is .319 which indicates a low correlation between the variables with a p value of .000 <.05, the statistical decision was made to reject the null hypothesis and accept the Hypothesis: There is a direct and significant incidence between financial education and savings capacity in the collaborators of the District Municipality of Manitea, Cusco 2024.
