Relación entre satisfacción laboral y desempeño docente en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional “San Luis Gonzaga” de Ica - 2019

Resumen
El estudio se desarrolló con la debida rigurosidad, por ello, se tuvo como propósito
analizar con objetividad la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y el desempeño docente en la
Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades de una universidad pública de Ica. Este se
rigió por una metodología de tipo básico, de nivel relacional, y de diseño no experimental
correlacional. Participaron 91 docentes (60 nombrados y 31 contratados). Se empleó la encuesta,
y dos cuestionarios validados y con fiabilidad muy alta. Se encontró que el 60% de ellos
experimentaban una mediana satisfacción laboral, y el 58% evidenciaban un regular desempeño
profesional. Sumado a ello, se encontró un coeficiente r de 0,848 y un p-valor de 0,000;
evidenciándose una asociación cuantitativa directa, alta y significativa entre ambas variables, lo
que permitió concluir que en la facultad de la mencionada universidad pública la satisfacción
laboral se encuentra íntimamente ligada con el desempeño de los docentes, por tanto, a mejor
satisfacción del docente, mayor será su desempeño.
The study was developed with due rigor, therefore, its purpose was to objectively analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and teaching performance in the Faculty of Education Sciences and Humanities of the National University "San Luis Gonzaga" of Ica in 2019. This was governed by a basic type methodology, relational level, and non-experimental correlational design. Ninety-one teachers participated (60 appointed and 31 hired). The survey and two validated questionnaires with very high reliability were used. It was found that 60% of them experienced a medium job satisfaction, and 58% showed a regular professional performance. In addition, an r coefficient of 0.848 and a p-value of 0.000 were found, showing a direct, high and significant correlation between both variables, which led to the conclusion that in the faculty of the aforementioned public university, job satisfaction is substantially related to the performance of teachers; therefore, the better the teacher's satisfaction, the better his performance will be.
