Resumen
El principal objetivo del estudio fue realizar una evaluación de la huella ecológica por la
segregación de residuos sólidos domiciliarios en la Provincia de Ica, a través de una
metodología de tipo aplicada, de diseño no experimental, considerando los resultados
mas relevantes, que los residuos solidos de la Provincia de Ica están compuestos por
54.29% de residuos orgánicos, no aprovechables 16.32%, Inorgánicos 29.39%; para
identificar los residuos aprovechables para compostaje desde su origen son de mercado
(1.04 Ton/año) y áreas verdes (9.75 ton/año); por lo tanto mediante el modelo WARM
se determino la huella ecología solo de los residuos sólidos municipales llegando a
1143.745 Tn Co2-e, por lo tanto se llegó a la conclusión que se logró estimar la huella
ecológica que genera los residuos sólidos en la provincia de Ica, considerando la
información de la gestión de los residuos solidos que alcanzo 2974.0 TMCO2E en ese
sentido para valorizar los RRSS e implementar programas se supera la cantidad de
2766.31 TMCO2E, así mismo; se estimó la minimización de estas emisiones de gases
contaminantes, también se estableció la huella ecológica y la disminución de esta en -
160.83 TMCO2E, a través de aplicar em modelamiento WARM en la provincia de Ica
para las gestiones realizadas en temas de RRSS.
The main objective of the research was to evaluate the ecological footprint for the segregation of household solid waste in the Province of Ica, through an applied methodology, of a nonexperimental design, considering the most relevant results, that the solid waste of the Province from Ica are composed of 54.29% organic waste, 16.32% non-usable, 29.39% inorganic; to identify usable waste for composting from its origin are from the market (1.04 tons/year) and green areas (9.75 tons/year); Therefore, using the WARM model, the ecological footprint of only municipal solid waste was determined, reaching 1143,745 Tn Co2-e, therefore it was concluded that the ecological footprint generated by solid waste in the province of Ica was estimated. , taking into account the base scenario of waste management that was 2974.0 TMCO2E and the alternative scenario when implementing the recovery of waste within the management program whose result was 2766.31 TMCO2E, likewise; the reduction of the carbon footprint was estimated, which was -160.83 TMCO2E, through the application of the WARM model in the province of Ica for the management of its waste.
