Juego libre y su relación con la Autonomía de niños en la Institución Educativa N° 73, Ica - 2025

Abstract

El objetivo fue: analizar la relación entre el juego libre y la autonomía en niños de la Institución Educativa N° 73, Ica – 2025. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, nivel descriptivo y diseño correlacional; población integrada por 123 discentes; la muestra, estuvo integrada por 42 niños de 5 años. Para la recolección de datos se emplearon instrumentos estructurados que permitieron evaluar las manifestaciones del juego libre —concebido como actividad lúdica espontánea y voluntaria, sin dirección directa del adulto— y los niveles de autonomía, entendida como la capacidad del niño para actuar con independencia en situaciones cotidianas del aula, tomar decisiones, regular su conducta e interactuar responsablemente. Los resultados evidenciaron una asociación estadísticamente significativa. El valor del estadístico Chi cuadrado obtenido (15,77) superó el valor crítico establecido en la tabla (14,91), lo que permitió rechazar la hipótesis nula y confirmar la hipótesis alterna. Se concluye que el juego libre constituye un recurso pedagógico fundamental que favorece el desarrollo de conductas autónomas, fortaleciendo la interacción social en el contexto educativo.

This research aimed to analyze the relationship between free play and autonomy in children at Educational Institution No. 73, Ica - 2025. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, basic in nature, descriptive in level, and cross-sectional correlational in design. The population consisted of 123 children aged 3 to 5 years; the sample, selected through purposive non-probability sampling, comprised 42 five-year-old children. Structured instruments were used to collect data and assess manifestations of free play defined as spontaneous and voluntary play activity without direct adult guidance and levels of autonomy, understood as the child's ability to act independently in everyday classroom situations, make decisions, regulate their behavior, and interact responsibly. The results showed a statistically significant. The chi-square statistic (15.77) exceeded the critical value established in the table (14.91), allowing us to reject the null hypothesis and confirm the existence of a relationship between free play and children's autonomy. It is concluded that free play is a fundamental pedagogical resource that fosters the development of autonomous, and social interaction within the educational context.
