Currently the construction industry, especially public works, faces a common challenge of poor effectiveness due to poor scheduling and incorrect project control, resulting in delays in work delivery and increased construction costs. the projects. The objective of this work is to determine the results of the application of the Last Planner System methodology in relation to the reduction of time and improvement in the control of the proposed work. The project features a Master Planning, Lookahead, Weekly Plan and PPC. The application of long-term planning determined the start and end milestones, established from 10/05/2018 to 12/13/2018; In the medium-term planning, the 4-week lookahead was carried out, the restrictions were analyzed and based on their lifting, the weekly programming was carried out; Weekly meetings were established where progress, the degree of progress, the causes of non-compliance were evaluated and corrective actions were taken. Finally, the results show that the applied methodology decreased execution time by 49.17% and allowed improvement in project control, achieving 100% completed activity percentages for several weeks.
