Resumen
Determinar la relación entre los hábitos sedentarios y las condiciones de salud de los
conductores de la empresa de transporte A-ONE, Ica 2024. Metodología: Investigación básica,
correlacional, diseño observacional y transversal. La muestra fue de 140 conductores de taxi quienes
fueron elegidos mediante el muestreo aleatorio simple. El instrumento fue el cuestionario sobre
hábitos sedentarios con un valor de confiabilidad de 0.84 y el cuestionario de condiciones de salud
con una confiabilidad de 0.81. Resultados: El 53.6% de los individuos con hábitos sedentarios
medios y el 46.4% de aquellos con hábitos bajos reportan condiciones de salud inadecuadas. En
el grupo con alimentación media, un alarmante 87.8% se encuentra en la misma categoría de salud
deficiente. Además, el 47.9% de quienes realizan actividad física media y el 50.7% de aquellos
con baja actividad física presentan problemas de salud. En cuanto a los hábitos nocivos, el 92.5%
de los encuestados con hábitos medios también reporta salud inadecuada. Asimismo, el 72.9% de
quienes tienen condiciones laborales medias experimentan problemas de salud. En términos
demográficos, la mayoría de los encuestados (55.7%) tiene más de 40 años, el 69.3% son casados
o convivientes, el 39.3% posee estudios técnicos, el 89.3% proviene de entornos urbanos y el 60%
cuenta con más de 5 años de experiencia laboral. Conclusión: Todos los conductores presentan
condiciones de salud inadecuadas y una correlación moderada y significativa entre los hábitos
sedentarios y las condiciones de salud.
To determine the relationship between sedentary habits and health conditions of drivers of the transport company A-ONE, Ica 2024. Methodology: Basic research, correlational, observational and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 140 taxi drivers who were chosen through simple random sampling. The instrument was the questionnaire on sedentary habits with a reliability value of 0.84 and the questionnaire on health conditions with a reliability of 0.81. Results: 53.6% of individuals with average sedentary habits and 46.4% of those with low habits report inadequate health conditions. In the average-fed group, an alarming 87.8% are in the same category of poor health. In addition, 47.9% of those who perform medium physical activity and 50.7% of those with low physical activity have health problems. Regarding harmful habits, 92.5% of respondents with average habits also report inadequate health. Likewise, 72.9% of those with average working conditions experience health problems. In demographic terms, the majority of respondents (55.7%) are over 40 years old, 69.3% are married or cohabiting, 39.3% have technical studies, 89.3% come from urban environments and 60% have more than 5 years of work experience. Conclusion: All drivers have inadequate health conditions and a moderate and significant correlation between sedentary habits and health conditions.
