The objective of this research is to evaluate the achievement of learning in applied science courses among university students at the Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Administration in a Private University in the Ica region, 2022. This is a quantitative, explanatory-level, and experimental design study, which involved two groups: an exploratory group (N=15), which used the educational software Cogplay v.1.0, and a control group (N=20), which received traditional teaching methodology. To measure the conceptual dimension, a pre-test and post-test were applied, and the results were analyzed using the t-Student test for independent and paired samples. The procedural and attitudinal dimensions were assessed through surveys with a Likert scale, and the results identified performance levels and perceptions regarding the use of the educational questionnaire software Cogplay 1.0. The findings indicate that the exploratory group showed significant improvements in the conceptual dimension and greater development in the procedural and attitudinal dimensions compared to the control group.
