Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como Objetivo: Establecer la relación entre la actividad física y
el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de secundaria de la Institución Educativa 22321 Alberto
Casavilca Curacca, Ica -2023. Metodología: Investigación básica descriptiva, transversal, no
experimental, cuya muestra está conformada por 130 estudiantes de nivel secundaria de la
institución educativa 22321 "Alberto Casavilca Curacca" del distrito de Parcona en Ica, donde
mediante la técnica de encuesta, se les aplicó un instrumento de tipo cuestionario dividido en tres
dimensiones: Actividad deportiva, actividad en el centro escolar y actividad fuera del colegio y
para el rendimiento académico como instrumento fue la libreta de notas. Resultados: En cuanto
a la actividad física, el 5% presentó muy mala actividad física, 45% mala actividad física, 62%
regular, el 15% buena actividad física y el 1% realiza muy buena actividad física. Con respecto
al rendimiento académico, ningún estudiante se encontró en inicio, el 26.56% se encontró en
proceso, el 70.31% de los estudiantes presentó un rendimiento de logro esperado y un 3.13%
obtuvo un logro destacado, Así mismo se obtuvo un coeficiente de Pearson de 0.600 que indica
relación positiva entre la actividad física y el rendimiento académico. Conclusión: Se concluye
que existe una relación significativa entre la actividad física y el rendimiento académico en
estudiantes de secundaria de la Institución Educativa 22321 Alberto Casavilca Curacca en Ica –
2023.
The objective of this research is: To establish the relationship between physical activity and academic performance in high school students of the Educational Institution 22321 Alberto Casavilca Curacca, Ica -2023. Methodology: Basic descriptive, cross-sectional, nonexperimental research, whose sample is made up of 130 high school students of the educational institution 22321 "Alberto Casavilca Curacca" of the district of Parcona in Ica, where by means of the survey technique, a questionnaire type instrument was applied to them divided into three dimensions: Sports activity, activity at school and activity outside school, and for academic performance the report card was used as an instrument. Results: Regarding physical activity, 5% had very bad physical activity, 45% had bad physical activity, 62% had regular physical activity, 15% had good physical activity and 1% had very good physical activity. With respect to academic performance, no student was at the beginning, 26.56% were in the process, 70.31% of the students presented a performance of expected achievement and 3.13% obtained an outstanding achievement, likewise a Pearson coefficient of 0.600 was obtained which indicates a positive relationship between physical activity and academic performance. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and academic performance in high school students of the Educational Institution 22321 Alberto Casavilca Curacca in Ica - 2023.
