reconozcamos y formemos toda la variedad de las inteligencias humanas;
Through this research, we aim to validate the fundamental importance of methodology in the development of multiple intelligences. For several decades, thanks to the contributions of Howard Gardner, we have understood that intelligence is not a singular entity but rather a spectrum of intelligences encompassing various capacities and aptitudes that, to varying degrees, are present in every individual. Our research focuses on the issues identified during our Pre-Professional practices in various Educational Institutions, specifically at the “Francisco Flores Chinarro” Educational Institution in the district of Ica. There, we observed that the type of evaluation applied by teachers primarily fosters the development of only two types of intelligence: Logical-Mathematical and Linguistic. However, all human beings are capable of understanding the world through language, logical-mathematical analysis, spatial representation, musical thinking, bodily-kinesthetic problem-solving, interpersonal understanding, and comprehension of natural phenomena. These differences challenge an educational system that assumes everyone can learn the same subjects in the same way and that a single, uniform, and universal measure is sufficient to assess student learning. Therefore, we consider it essential to analyze the methodological strategies employed in teaching practice to ensure they promote the development of the various types of intelligence. It is of utmost importance to recognize and cultivate the full range of human intelligences. We are all different, largely because we possess distinct combinations of intelligence. If we acknowledge this, we believe we will at least have a better chance of effectively addressing the many challenges we face in the world. We hope this Research Project receives the necessary approval to enable its implementation for the academic benefit of our professional training.
